Dr.Michael Traylor, MD
Pediatrician
Michael is a board-certified pediatrician with over 30 years of experience.
Michael was born in northeastern Ohio and went to Oberlin College, where he majored in biology. He began his medical education at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he received his M.D. He then received his training in pediatrics at the University of Michigan Hospitals (Mott Children’s Hospital) and was board-certified by the American College of Pediatrics in 1994.
Michael has practiced in academic settings, federally qualified health centers, community-based practices, and, most recently, contracting with the US Army at Brooks Army Medical Center.
Michael’s professional interests include treatment of ADHD, sports medicine, and adolescent mood disorders.<br
He also earned his Master's in Public Administration with a healthcare concentration from Cleveland State University, a Master's in Theology and Justice from Roberts Wesleyan University, and a Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary in Ohio
He is an ordained minister in the Free Methodist Church and has pastored and led congregations and conferences.
Michael is celebrating 39 years of marriage with Dr. Amelia Cleveland-Traylor. They have two children, Matthew and Michaela, who are both attorneys.
Michael is a huge sports fan and an avid but incredibly patient supporter of his hometown teams: the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He enjoys movies and fitness and is fascinated by all things related to outer space.
Her goal is to provide specialized and comprehensive care to all children, focusing on preventive care, and education for both children and their families to ensure their optimal health and well-being.
