Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)
Understanding UTIs
Urinary tract infections (UTIs) occur when bacteria enter the urinary tract and cause infection. The urinary tract includes the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. UTIs are more common in girls than boys and can cause significant discomfort and potential complications if left untreated.
